Gonzalo participated in the AgTech Investment Panel at Founder World 2021, with Roger Royse of Haynes Boone, LLP as moderator and alongside Aaron Magenheim, CEO & Founder at Ag Tech Insight and Ephraim Lindenbaum, Managing Director at Advance Ventures.

Gonzalo participated in a panel about Animal-tech at the Food Tech Congress, alongside Alfred Evans of NPK Capital, Pedro Peixoto of 10b, Erik Tveteraas of Nutreco and Mareese Keane of Opengate, moderated by Makis Levis of the European Innovation Council.

The talk covered the main drivers of innovation in the space and some of the challenges the industry still faces in the near future.

Andrés participated in a panel about Food Waste alongside Sarah Nolet of Tenacious Ventures, Tim Bluth of Pontifax Global Food and Agriculture Technology Fund, and moderated by Larissa Zimberoff, author of the book Technically Food: Inside Silicon Valley’s Mission to Change What We Eat.

The panel explored the future of food waste and food traceability from the different perspectives of each panelist and opportunities to invest in this space.

Gonzalo spoke about venture capital and innovation in Latin America’s agriculture industry at this year’s edition of AgroInteligencia (Argentina). We were able to share with the audience how VC funds are structured, make investments and the importance of financing innovation, especially in this industry.

The Paris-based conference is the world’s largest event for the planet, addressing global issues for amore sustainable world.

Gonzalo was invited by Mexico-based Brixton Ventures Lab and Fundación Sparkassen to participate in agro.connect, a program aimed at helping fin-tech startups and the financial sector work together to bring tech based solutions to small farmers and growers in Mexico.
